1. Lahjar Speckled Wool-Blend Area Rug

One of my very favorite Wayfair finds is this beautiful wool area rug that achieves the light, organic feel I was trying to create.

It’s the perfect neutral tone to compliments our white oak flooring, without pulling too yellow or pink or green (which is a lot harder than it looks)! 

The quality of the weave of the rug feels super high-end and our couch keeps it anchored well, without us having to use a rug pad. 

2. Hawthorn Striped Wool Area Rug

Finding this stylish, neutral rug that was durable enough to stand up to wet boots from snowy Canadian winters was definitely a bit of a challenge!

While some options offer very good durability, they lack in design, and oftentimes, the beautifully designed area rugs are too delicate to stand up to foot traffic.

This beautiful little rug has taken a true beating over the past year, without showing any significant wear and tear, and has been easily refreshed by putting it through a gentle cycle in my standard home washing machine (then hung to dry). 

Highly recommend!

3. Chris Loves Julia x Loloi Scottie Area Rug

The perfect addition to our kitchen, this wavy area rug adds such a pretty layer or warmth to our space and provides a really nice amount of padding for tired feet that have to get through the dishes after a long day.

4. Amariana Reversible Striped Wool Area Rug 

I (Christal) chose this gorgeous striped neutral rug for my kitchen as a runner. I love the fact that it’s reversible with a taupe majority color on one side and ivory on the other.

The stripes are subtle but add interest and the neutral shade is so perfect and grounding! The rug is thick and so soft underfoot, and with this Wayfair non-slip rug pad it stays right in place!

5. Christana Plaid Jute Area Rug 

This is *the* cutest rug for a nursery or kids bedroom. I put it in my son’s bedroom and it adds a cute touch of character with the checkered pattern. This rug would also look great large-scale in a living room with a California modern vibe. 

6. Cliona Area Rug 

Another perfect living room area rug or hallway runner, this sturdy neutral rug is made with washed jute but still has a soft feel underfoot.

The low-profile makes it great for high traffic areas and the pretty “bisque” color goes with any decor style!
